About Me

My name is Jacob Tidwell, a game programmer who works with game designers to create scripts for related functions. I believe that producing cohesive and efficient work helps create games and improve teamwork. I have participated in and supported many teams which have succeeded in generating projects often using teamwork related activities. I am a self-starter and am comfortable working with teams and on my own as dictated by the demands of the job at hand. I have a bachelor’s degree in computer game design from George Mason University in Virginia, USA and have two associate degrees in graphic arts and general studies.

Other than programming, I do enjoy playing video games! I am always inspired by the many different games available. I prefer to play RPG, JRPG, and RTS games. I find myself playing Final Fantasy XIV over thousands of hours and countless days most often with team members from around the world. One of the popular games that influenced me to become a programmer was Alien: Isolation. The alien A.I. impressed me so much that I wanted to learn how to create programs that have similar interactions and many other things like it.
